Neither a Borrower Nor a Lender Be

Neither a borrower nor a lender be; For loan oft loses both itself and friend, and borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.

What kind of word is “hubandry” anyway? Is this a Bible verse?

It is not in the Bible, it is from hamlet by Shakespearehowever the Biblr does tell us the borrower becomes the lenders slave ( Proverbs 22:7). Husbandry also means the careful managementof affairs and resources. your welcome, JB

I don’t know that there is anything you can do, as we should not be in the business of changes others – we pray and God does the changing. Sometimes He will change them, and sometimes He will change us. You may want to consider speaking to your pastor if this is becoming a problem in the church. And in all things, lead with love and compassion.
